Hello,
I am a stay-at-home mommy (& expectant
mother) who tutors in a quiet and productive
atmosphere from home. I have a Bachelor's of
Science Degree in Psychology with minors in
Sociology and English from an Ohio College,
have completed all required courses to be a
Chemical Dependency Counselor, and have taken
courses toward my Master's in Marriage, Couple,
and Family Therapy. I have previously been
employed as a tutor through the 'No Child
Left Behind Program', taught at a corrections
facility, was a drivers education instructor, and a
residential youth counselor. I have worked
extensively with youth and adults with mental
illnesses, that have exhibited severe problematic
behavior, along with many that were also
involved with legal issues.
I believe it is very important to be as familiar as
possible with those individuals that work with
children, especially now that I am a mommy. I do
provide proof of background checks, educational
and professional documentations and
qualifications, letters of recommendation, and
other pertinent information during the initial
meeting (which is only a 10$fee). I will also be
happy to answer any questions anyone may have
during this initial meeting.
